Its that time of year again. Single or not its hard to escape Valentines day as its pushed on us from every shop window, tv screen and magazine.
We're not doing presents or anything special but i have been doing bit of heart shaped baking, the way to mans heart is throug his stomach after all!
So we've had heart shaped chocolate chip shortbread and heart shaped chocolate cakes with (messy)strawberry icing.

What fabulous creations and so very true. We don't need a set day for romantic gestures but Jon is cooking me veggie sausages, mashed potato and mushy peas for tea. xxx

ReplyDeleteI think it's a little too pushed on us, flowers chocs romantic meal out. We are staying in tonight, cooking in the new kitchen and watching a film. Much better, and we can do all that in our pjs. Even better.
