Reaching my due date!! Finally i'm due today!

Hot chocolate, duvet and DVD. Perfect way to spend an afternoon.


Online shopping, makes life sooo much easier, i love it when my Tesco man comes calling.


My ever growing family, my sister is pregnant with her fifth baby and its another boy! Thats 6 grandsons for my parents as well as 3 grandaughters. Me and my sister haven't always got on too well but shes a fab mum and has given me loads advice over the last few months. I love being part of a big family with so many little ones to cherish.

Outs
Not being able to put on my own socks or paint my toenails! I'm living in easy to put on shoes rather then relying on Phil to do up straps or laces, i can't wait to get back into my pretty shoes.

Wearing the same few things on rotation, i want my wardrobe back!

Well the midwife was wrong! No baby yet!

I had my latest appointment today and shes tried to get things going for me(i won't give details!) but nothing as of yet. I know that he'll come in his own time but hopefully sooner rather then later.

We've still avoided the snow so far, i do love snow but this year i could do without it as i want to be able to get to hospital easily, have people come to see the baby without risking their lives(we live on top of a massive hill) and also to be able to go out with the pram when he arrives. So keep your fingers crossed it avoids our little area.

What are everyones weekend plans?

Tonight i'm cooking Carbonara for us, having a mini tidy round and watching trashy tv.

I'm hibernating for the rest of the weekend, i don't really want to go anywhere far from home incase i go into labour plus i can hardly walk he is that low down. So for me its DVD's, books, Countdown on the Wii. Phils working the whole weekend so i might get my mum over for some company.

I've also got a couple of blog posts to do, which i'll schedule in.

For ordering this skirt from New Look despite the fact it might not fit for a little while.

I couldn't resist the bow on the waist and the velvet trim.

I'm sooo desperate to get into all of my clothes and go for a shop soon!

Does anyone have snow? Its not settled here yet, but its freezing so i'm making the most of having some peace with a duvet day xxx

H&M sadness

On November 6th i finally placed an order from the H&M website.

To be honest i wasn't that impressed with the service. Delivery was £3.90 but my dress took 14 days to arrive, i didn't receive any dispatch email and when i contacted them it took me ages to work out how and a reply was slow.

Onto happier things, i love H&M and am pleased with my dress. It was a bargainous £3.99 and i chose this colour as i have some shoes to wear with it that have been neglected. I'm thinking with black opaques.

Has anyone else ordered? Fingers crossed your order was much faster then mine!!

39 week bump

Another parcel for me!

I've been lucky this week. On Wednesday i had a knock at the door and was handed a parcel which i opened to find this :)

So i unwrapped it to find a shoebox and information about Deichmann shoes and their Autumn/Winter collection.

Inside the box were these black shoeboots with purple glitter in the fabric. I can't wait to wear these, they'll be fab with black tights.

I've had a good look at their shoes and they are really good prices, ideal for a night out when you're short on cash. You can see more on their website here.

I'd like to thank them for sending these shoes out to me, i really appreciate it when companies offer things and only accept the ones i am genuinely interested in hence me not having a continuous stream of freebies on this blog.

I'll end this post with a picture of some flowers Phil came home with yesterday, he knows how to get on my good side he also got me chocolate, pringles and some magazines to help ease my boredom and cheer me up after a very hormonal rant from me on Friday night!

Christmas shopping- Done

Ooooh i'm so proud of myself!

After a midwife appointment today where i was told that she thinks he'll most likely have arrived by next weekend and if not she'll book me in to be induced i decided that i'd better finish off my shopping for Christmas.

So now its all done(unless i see extras!) and it feels fab, now i have no pressure to buy something(anything!) when i go out. It was so busy at the shops though , i dread to think what its going to be like at the weekend, Debenhams, BHS, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis were all offering big discounts and loads more were too.

I only picked up one thing for me(apart from possibly the most ugly bras in the world ever), which is the No.7 Mirrorball Highlighter as it looked too pretty to resist.

This is a really crappy picture, the middle is baby pink and the sides a creamy white. Its lovely and shimmery to give a bit of a glow.

Lucky me

A few weeks ago i was contacted regarding Box Clothing offering me the chance to choose something from their site.

Being honest its not a site i've ever been on before but funnily enough Phil has had jeans from them before and been really happy so this encouraged me to say yes. I spent a happy hour browsing the site and decided to try out this gorgeous dress by Firetrap. I love button backs and black is my current colour of choice! Although Firetrap is really well known its not a brand i actually own anything from.

Overall i'm really pleased with this dress, its a nice fine material that means i can wear it during the day and it would also be good for nights out where i don't want to glam up too much. I like the fact that the logo on it is only small and not overly obvious.

Still no baby!

Hello lovely bloggers.

I'm back, its been a bit of a weird 10days or so, i've had hospital trips due to bleeding and my blood pressure deciding to rocket but all is fine and baby is still in there and is all engaged ready to go.

I have 12 days now until he is due so it could be happening at anytime!

I want to say a massive thank you to Laura from Daisychaindream for sending me a lovely parcel.

My plan for today and tomorrow is to catch up on peoples blogs so bear with me, i'll try and get round them all xxx

Having a little break

Just a little post to let you all know i'm taking a little break from blogging. I'm a bit uninspired at the moment and that combined wiith catching the lurgy has made me decided to take a little break from blogging. Only a week or so, just until i feel human again!
