Ins and Outs
I've not done one of these posts in ages...
Ins
Matalan. They've got some really lovely things in stock at the moment, i got the swallow print dress i wanted and now have my eye on a skirt.
Etsy. I've known about this site forever but never really used it much, but now am on it all the time looking for things for Sebs room and other random things.
Twitter. I'm finally starting to understand it. If you want to follow me, my user name is Sebsmummy.
Reading. Thanks to my monthly mission, i've been making the effort to read more and remembering how much i love it. Plus i make sure i read at least one book a day to Seb and its such a nice time for cuddles.
Seb getting big! On the same theme, Seb is 12 weeks today. He never stops 'talking' to us and is full of smiles(mostly). I love being a mummy so much, i can't even explain how much in words.
Outs
Seb getting big! This is an out too! Its a bit sad that he is no longer a tiny baby and i've had to put away most of his 0-3 month clothes over the last few weeks. Keeping them for the next baby though!
Bills. I don't think i need to say much, baby born in the middle of one of the coldest winters, heating on 24/7!

Designer Loo Roll
I received The Perfect Package which is 3 loo rolls packaged up, one floral, one polka dot and one damask. I chose the pink one of course!
Now these come brilliantly packaged so would be a fab quirky present for a certain type of person and they also look fantastic on display in your bathroom and would definately create a talking point! They boast over 200 sheets per roll and 4 ply paper.
However on closer inspection, the sheets of paper seperate very easily which is not ideal so they are definately more for display then use. They would also be pretty expensive to use all the time as your normal loo roll.
The girly side of me does love them though just for pure prettiness!
I also got a catalogue in with my package, these ones caught my eye! They'd look fab in my parents downstairs loo!

Two very late outfits of the day

Pretty new things! be warned its photo heavy!
I had a fab weekend(seems like ages ago already), i left Seb with my parents on Saturday afternoon for the first time so me and Phil could have some time together. Cue me feeling guilty. We went for a pub lunch and a mooch around town as Phil needed to buy some boring work clothes. I dragged him into my favourite charity shop and nabbed myself this baby, shes only small but very sweet and looks lovely sat on my windowsill.
I had a £5 giftcard from Marks and Spencers(they randomly posted it to me?) so we popped in and i got us some goodies for our treats cupboard and then some new tea for me to try and of course Percy Pigs.
Sunday was my official break from being a mummy day. Phil took Seb to his mum and dads for the day to watch the rugby. I got to get showered with the door closed and dressed without a baby watching me! Then me and my mum hit the shops.
I really wanted a vest i'd seen in Topshop but did they have it in stock in my size, nope! So instead i ended up having a bit of a Primark spree.
Firstly my mum got me this as we both loved the random print.
I got myself the same dress/top in poodle print, it looks horrible in this photo though.
I had to get the horse print dress. Peter pan collars don't usually suit me as the necks are too high but this neckline is much better.
I've been wanting this scarf for a few weeks after seeing it online somewhere.
I picked these tights up at the till because they felt nice.
I used my boots advantage points to get these bits. Can't wait to try the blusher.
Then we went to Debenhams, i had £5 to spend on my beauty card in there. I knew what i wanted to put it towards and headed straight to the Chanel counter to get Black Pearl Nail Polish. For once the girl working the counter was really nice.
Chanel tissue paper!
Last but not least, i'd spied this dress in my local Matalan store. Only in sizes 18 or 20. Same online. My mum managed to track one down for me in her local store. I really wanted the Warehouse swallow print dress but didn't like the price, this one is much more reasonable.
I'm now feeling much happier with my spring wardrobe :)
I did come home to a flooded kitchen, some kind of pipe problem, but its all fixed now.
I want to apologise for the photos in this post, blogger is being a total pain for me and i'm useless on photobucket.

Recipe- Pork and Halloumi Pasta Bake
200g pasta, cooked
1 tbsp olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 cloves of crushed garlic
200g pork mince
1/2 chicken stock cube
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp plain flour
400ml of milk
1 tsp grated nutmeg
100g halloumi cheese, chopped
salt and pepper
Heat oil in a frying pan and add the onion and garlic and fry until softening. Then add in the pork mince and crumble the stock cube over the top. Cook until the pork is golden brown all over.
In a separate pan, melt the butter and stir in the flour until the mixture forms a paste. Then add the milk a small amount at a time continuously stirring for several minutes until your sauce is smooth. Season to taste with the salt and pepper and then stir in the nutmeg.
Spoon around 1/3 of the white sauce into an ovenproof dish and then add half of the pasta and on top of that put half of the pork mix. Repeat this again, finishing with the last 1/3 of the sauce. Now pop the halloumi on top and pop the dish under the grill for around 10 minutes until the cheese starts to turn golden brown.
Serve!
This would probably be enough for 3-4 people, it was far too much for the 2 of us! The BBC suggests serving it with salad, though we had it with some garlic bread.
