Polka dots and smiles

Ohh i have an ongoing love for polka dots. I've had this particular dress for about 4 years now and its still going strong, i love the colour, the print and the shape.

Wow the feet of my tights look dusty!

Seb smiled for the first time yesterday, cue very proud mummy grabbing the camera and snapping this picture of his second smile, i'm so hormonal i cried!What are you wearing today? Do you have big plans for tonight? I'd usually be out in something sparkly dancing away but tonight me, Phil and Seb are staying in watching Jools Holland and eating something delicious.

Hauling

I finally managed to hit the shops this week, it was so busy that i wish i hadn't bothered! Trying to get past people with a pram is not easy when they are determined to be the one to grab a bargain. Despite this i have picked up a few bits..

Topshop jewelled flats- I needed some new black flats and these were reduced to £15 and are lovely soft leather with a pretty sturdy sole for walking around.

No clothes for me in the sale at Topshop but i love loads of the non sale items. I decided to get this leopard wrap dress, i love it.

I went into Republic(i felt so old in there!) and grabbed another pair of black jewelled flats, not leather but pretty.
I also grabbed this necklace in there i love a quirky necklace, and the watering can charm sold it to me.
I did my Marks and Spencer shopping online on Christmas Eve, i'd been eyeing up this jumper for Seb in the Autograph section, i love it and it also has little elbow patches.

Also i got this dress from ebay, nautical comes back every Spring Summer and this is perfect with some leggings/tights for an easy outfit.

Outfit and nail of Christmas day

A little bit late but nevermind! Its a really basic outfit really, i made sure there was lots of room for turkey to be eaten.

On my eyes i used MAC's greensmoke as a base with a dark green from last years Chanel winter quad and a tiny bit of glitter from a cheapy pallete i've had for some sparkle. The usual MAC opulash mascara and Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Zero.

I wish it could be Christmas everyday

I'm not going to do a present haul post this year as to be honest they've been the last thing on my mind. Both me and Seb got thoroughly spoilt but more importantly Seb got all the love and cuddles he could ever ask for. This year its seemed more important then ever to spend time with family.

What i love about Christmas

Decorations and twinkling fairy lights in peoples home and gorgeous lights when out and about late night shopping.

Carol singers always get me feeling festive.

Food and drink. Turkey, pigs in blankets, shortbread, gingerbread, hot chocolate, mulled wine all delicous.

The Snowman. I have to watch this every year. This year we've got it on DVD and i can't wait to sit and watch.

Cosiness. Fires, cuddling up under blankets,wrapping up snug against the cold when you go out.

And saving the most important until last, family. This year family has a whole new meaning to me, i can't wait to wake up on Christmas morning with my little family and to start our own yearly traditions. Seb will probably sleep through it all but he is the best present me and Phil could ever have.

Outfit of the day

Thank you all for the birthday wishes, it was a really nice day. I ended up having the smallest glass of wine ever, but boy i could really feel it!

Happy Birthday to meeeeeeee!

Wow 27 sounds so old, i don't feel it at all!

I'm not sure what happened with my last post, it was meant to be scheduled but went on today for some reason! Nevermind.

Its been the quietest birthday ever. Phil managed to get this morning off work so he did all of the night feeds with Seb and i got a full nights sleep :)

Seb has obviously been reading my blog recently as for my birthday he got me a lovely mummy card(he's so clever he can write!) and the panda hat i wanted! I love it soo much!

I've also been given Nina Ricci perfume(from Phil), Kylie Darling perfume set, Chocolate smellies set, sparkly shoe moneybox, chocolate shoes, a humungous scarf and the cutest tea for one set. My mum is taking me clothees shopping for a present, i'm going to wait until the new year when Phil is off work so i can leave Seb with him rather then dragging him round the shops and me and my mum can have a serious shop.

I also got a bag of Lush goodies :)

And homemade cakes with mini eggs on top :)

This afternoon has just been me and Seb who is being very good and sleeping

Phil will be home from work at about 9pm so we're having a takeaway and i'm going to have my first taste of alcohol since the start of March. Just one glass of wine but it'll probably get me drunk!

Its been a long time

so be gentle. I've not done an outfit post in an age but i'm hoping to get back into it now. Still carrying some baby weight, i can't wait until 10 more weeks and i can do some stomach crunches.

This was worn to go to my parents and to a friends house with Seb. A black best would be farrrr better!

... for my birthday and Christmas. I don't really expect presents, especially now Seb is here and i'd love to receive anything but heres a few bits i have my eye on.

River Island Panda Hat, i've wanted this since last winter, its so cute and will be fab for when i go out on walks with Seb.

I still haven't got myself the latest Shopaholic book

Its always nice to have a new perfume at Christmas, these two are on my wishlist

Finally these two Zara dresses are currently being admired by moi, i love the floral ones colours and shape and the cream looks lovely and warm and i love the bow
