New year, new diary, new resolutions

Its that time of year where everyone makes resolutions and thinks ahead to what lies in the future. I thought i'd show off my lovely new diary and share my resolutions at the same time. I don't know how people cope without a diary, mine is full of lists and important dates and even just random jots that i can make no sense of. Do you keep a diary? Whats it like? What are your resolutions for 2010?

Agyness Deyn modelling for La Redoute

If you shop with La Redoute then look out for the Spring and Summer book which will be arriving about mid January as Paul Ka has designed a collection and it will be modelled by the fabby Aggy.

I do kind of work for La Redoute which means i can get 40% off the book price, this collection looks set to be amazing so i can't wait to get my mitts on some of the pieces. Ohh and i'd just like to say this is in no way an advert as my work have no idea of my blog.

Latest in Beauty

I wanted to give you all a heads up on the fab Latest In Beauty site. I've been using the site for around 3 years now so thought i'd let all you lovely ladies know about it. I'm sure some of you already use this site but for those of you who don't then heres how it works.

All you need to do is join up, giving them the usual contact details and some information on your skin, hair etc. Then you get to choose 3 samples to have delivered to your door in a lovely pink box. It does cost £1 each time you order a box of samples which you do via your mobile. In my opinion its well worth it as i've gotton to try some fab products such as Estee Lauders Pore Minimiser which i wouldn't usually have tried. At the moment theres not alot showing on the site but i've been advised by them that there will be alot of products coming in the next few months, so keep checking back. Personally i tend to go on about every 6 months to see what they have on offer.

How do you make an apple puff?

....by chasing it round the garden. Yes that was the best joke from our crackers this year. I've got to admit it did make me chuckle.

This is a show off your presents post, Santa was good to me this year and i loved everything i got. I have to say though in my family we don't go mad so my haul is not as impressive as some others i've seen. To be fair if i had lots of stuff i probably couldn't be bothered to take photos and post it all!!

Black dress that i had been admiring. Black bow shoes from Topshop with a small heel, these are perfect for work and i love them! Typically they have gone down to half price in the sale now!

Sadness and excitement

I always feel a bit weird after Christmas, theres so much build up to the one day and then its over in a flash. I have to say i've had a lovely couple of days, Christmas Day was spent with my mum and dad and the dogs, it was very quiet and relaxed. I made Oscar wear the Santa hat, he kept it on for about 10 seconds then got bored.

I wanted to include some snow photos of our house as it was so pretty and i've NEVER had snow on Christmas Day before!
Today both my brothers came over. My oldest brother came with Amelie his little girl who is 11 months and they've told us they are having another baby due in July!! I am very over excited about this. My other brothers wife is very heavily pregnant, the baby was due on 14th December and still hasn't arrived. I've been stroking both of their tummies today, it makes me so broody!! I love having a big family, my sister lives in London and has 4 children of her own, so theres lots of us around.

Did you have a lovely Christmas? Did anyone go sales shopping? I actually can't be bothered, i ordered some bits off the Body Shop but apart from that i'm just not in the mood.

This will be my last post for a few days as its now officially Christmas for me!!!

Firstly I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, thanks for reading me!! I've got some posts lined up for after the holidays and look forward to reading everyones lovely blogs.

My plans aren't overly exciting, tomorrow i'm going to the shops just because i love going on Christmas Eve then on the next couple of days just being with family, watching tv and eating lots. I also have a couple of books to read. I was meant to be going out on Christmas Eve but sadly my funds are low so i'm staying in with some DVD's and hot chocolate.

Just before i go i wanted to share a couple of new bits with you!

I won this dress on ebay for £1.04 yay! I really wanted it last year when it was instore in Topshop so was happy to get it for a bargain price.

I've also ordered this cute tee from work.

And this dress which i love but was originally £85 and i didn't really need, but using my works computers to find out about reductions and then my staff discount i got it for £25. Fingers crossed i like it when it comes.

Doggys in the snow

Oscar and Coco loved it and didn't want to come back in but Millie hates it and we caught her dancing from foot to foot so only 2 paws were in the snow at any time.

I went to the panto on Saturday to see Dick Whittington, it was so funny and made a nice change from going out and getting drunk. We even got 3D glasses as there were special bits where we needed to wear them. Afterwards we went back to my friends and got takeaway and stayed over which was good fun

Anyway as you know it was my birthday on Sunday and it snowed!! It meant i didn't do too much, i went shopping and it was so busy i just couldn't enjoy it like i normally do.

Anyway i thought i'd show you my birthday presents :D

Happy birthday to me

I've reached the grand old age of 26 today, thats very scary!!! I'll post tomorrow about my pressies, in the meantime help yourself to a cocktail xx

What did i buy this week?

I didn't end up going out last night, it was below freezing, the roads are super icy and i'm full of cold so i figured i'd get a decent nights sleep instead. So here i am, up bright and early on a Saturday. The dogs are loving the snow, if i can get some photos of them in it, i'll post them as they look so cute. Who else has snow?

My top from ebay came and its gorgeous, it has a totally sheer back and the sequins on the front are really big. Will be fab, maybe for Christmas Eve?
I've managed to pick up some other bits this week.
