For me its been perfect. A few photos from the last few days.

My rather attractive scald from boiling water(i got my other arm on the oven later in the same evening)
Seb stayed at my mums last night for the first time, it was very weird not having him around, i had a little cry when he went. Apparantly he was as good as gold. We went out to a local Italian restaurant and then had a couple of drinks. We also got a lovely lie in and breakfast in bed.
Seb came back a bit earlier and has now gone off with Phil to a local rugby match so i'm all by myself.
This all seems rather frivolous when you consider what is going on in the world. My thoughts are with the people of Japan xxx

I think the only way to cope with the grimness of the world at the moment is to focus on the small, pleasure filled things.

Scones look tasty! so sorry to hear of the 'accidents', did you rememember to apply a drop or two of neat lavender essential oil post cold water splashes, Em?!!!
