I've not done of these in agesssssss! Luckily you can't see my very lovely cut as its just on the underside of my chin. Phil has a new camera and these face photos are so much better in quality then my camera so i'll steal his more often i think.

Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell

I love thats its the time of year to dig out the velvet, its one of my favourite fabrics and takes me back to being a little girl wearing a velvet dress my nana got for me along with a gold heart shaped bag. I guess this outfit harks back to that a little.

Outfit of the day

Happy Sunday everyone!

Well its definately gone much colder today in this part of West Yorkshire, poor Phil had to leave at 8 this morning for work and left me snuggled up in bed, i love that feeling where its freezing cold outside and you know you can stay under the duvet for a while yet.

What is everyone upto today? I've just been cleaning, washing and other boring domestic chores, also had to wait for our food shopping to be delivered and discovered that i forgot to order any butter(doh?!) so i'm going to have to take a quick walk to the shops to get some.

I was at my parents house yesterday and my mum had found a load of clothes of mine, i had a look through and didn't even remember buying half of these things which is pretty bad, some have gone off to charity and others have come home with me, it was a bit like free shopping! I'm wearing one of the tops today.

Thank you to everybody for all of your kind comments on my last post.

I've been so upset about it thinking how i could have hurt our baby even though i know baby is ok and is kicking away at me. I'm just glad it was me that is hurt not him, i look very sttractive at the moment, my chin is all scabby but luckily no stitches and i have lovely purple bruises on my right hand side.

While we were in the hospital the girl on the bed next to me was in late labour, i thought it might freak Phil out but its actually made us both more excited. We both had to laugh when the midwife was asking her what pain relief she wanted and the girl screamed out 'ANYTHING!!' Its good to know that the hospital staff are lovely even though i'm hoping not to have bump there all being well.

Bit of an accident

Well what an eventful day we've had!

What started as a normal morning, led to me somehow falling over getting into the shower and landing bump first into the bath. I don't remember much about falling, just landing bump down and panicking. I managed to get out and call Phil's phone, then realised i had blood covering me from my chin down my neck and over my chest as well as shaking and obviously pain.

Phil raced home and rang the midwife who made us go to the hospital where I've spent hours hooked up to machines and being examined. Baby seems fine but i just have to keep an eye on it and go back in if i have any pains.

We're home now just having Phil look after me as I'm pretty shaken up, plus i have a huge gash on my chin, bruising on one side and seem to have damaged one of my back teeth.

So if I'm quiet over the next few days, you know why!!

H&M online

I finally had a look at the H&M online shop(how long has it taken to actually get online!)

Firstly i had a look at the baby clothes(i've never been able to resist them even pre pregnancy), then onto clothes for meeeee. I'm a little bit in love with this dress, i think it'd be really nice with black tights and high heels.

These boots are so gorgeous, i prefer them to the black version. Wedges are so comfy.

Finally i had a quick look at the home section, they have some fab quirky bits, this bath towel is gorgeous, i love the little bow

and i'm so going to get some of these tea towels, i've been looking for pretty ones but they are all ridiculously expensive, at H&M a mere £2.99
I really enjoyed looking at the site, and i'm pleased to see they have a pretty big maternity section online too as its hard to get trendy, reasonably priced maternity clothes despite what people say. The only thing that annoyed me is the Wishlist, i love the idea and added loads of items to my wishlist to find that they all dissapeared.

Ins and Outs

Not the most inspired post, but i'm easing myself back in gently!

The Great British Bake Off- I loved this show and am so sad that its nearly over. Has anyone else been watching?

Looking forward to new clothes-I'm now looking forward to the clothes i can wear after bump is here, rather then worrying about things that i can't wear now. My wardrobe may be boring for now but in a few weeks i'll be able to treat myself in the sales.

Boots- I've dug out the boots i'd left at my parents when i moved out and can't wait to get some good wear from them. Also loving the boots on sale at the moment, Marks Aand Spencers have really caught my eye this season.

New books- I've been buying loads to read before baby comes, i've found a fab charity shop that does 4 books for £3. I've also been browing Amazon, and i've added the new Shopaholic book to my wishlish.

Being prepared, we have everything we need for our little man now, anything else is a bonus. The cot is up, the travel system is waiting, clothes all washed in Fairy, and our hospital bags packed. We just need a name!

I'm back!

Helloooo, i'm back in blogland at last. My internet is up and running so i'll be having a major catch up tomorrow night as i'll be home alone(Phil is off to some kind of rugby thing).

I had my latest midwife appointment last week and everything is perfect, yay! Its a shame i have awful heartburn near enough every night but some people have much worse happen to them.

Last weekend was fab, me and my mum babysat for 2 of my nephews and 1 niece which was good fun. Its amazing how big they get so fast.

Mix and match post

This post has no particular subject, more just some random bits rather then doing several seperate posts.

Firstly i'm loving the fact that autumn is on its way although i won't really be buying much clothes wise, I do really want this River Island Cloche Hat.

Secondly a quick nail of the day, Barry M's Fuschia, i'd forgotton how much i like this colour.
Thirdly, how cute are these little star decorations. My icing went wrong after an incident with the piping bag but the stars managed to kind of save the day!
Finally, i'm 28 weeks pregnant now, this week i've started to get much stronger kicks and also little feet/hands poking out of my bump. Its weird but nice at the same time!

Still not looking pregnant from the front though!
