Review:L'oreal Perfect Clean Exfoliating Foaming Gentle Wash

Firstly just to let you all know, first midwife appointment went well, she was lovely and everything seems to be on track! Again i'm sorry for the lack of comments this week, i'll be using the weekend to catch up!
Heres a quick review as its a new product and i thought some people would like to know what its like...

The Product
L'oreal Perfect Clean Exfoliating Foraming Gentle Wash, Priced at £4.99 for 150ml, its on special offer in most places at the moment as its new. Available from Boots, Superdrug etc

What do they say
Deep pore cleansing! L'OrĂ©al Paris Perfect Clean changes the face of cleansing with the Scrublet™, a soft & flexible cleansing brush
Perfect Clean gently removes dirt, oil & make-up for a deep pore cleansing experience.
The Scrublet™ soft, flexible cleansing brush & foaming cleansing wash:
A perfect duo for perfect skin everyday!
The combination of specific cleansing wash for your skin type + Scrublet provides a deep pore cleansing sensation.
All taken from the Boots website. What do i think
Well i totally love this! Firstly i like the bottle, because of how its designed with the opening at the bottom you can use the whole bottle with nothing leftover. I also like how the scrublet can be kept on the bottle, as otherwise i'm sure to lose it. As you can see by the photo above the gel is clear, it has small granules in(they didn't come out in the photo) and it smells lovely and fruity.
On my skin the gel was scrubby but not too harsh, so its definately gentle enough to use each day. After use my skin feels smooth and squeaky clean, i love seeing the grime come off my face on the scrublet, its so safisfying. I usually get bored halfway through bottles of face products but i will definately be using this up and repurchasing.

Ruby slippers

Ahhh sometimes i love having small feet, at the weekend me and my mum went to a discount outlet and they have a Monsoon there. I was mooching around with not much luck, then my eye got caught by some sparkle and being the magpie i am, i went to look. I found these fab sparkly shoes with velvet bow in the childrens section for £5! They feel so lovely and soft, i just love them.
I also picked up this fab velvet headband with diamantes on.
This week i also picked up this gorgeous dress in Primark, i love the colours and the vintagey print, not so keen on the buttons at the top though so i'm going to pick up some different ones and change them over.
What have you been buying lately?xxx

Ins and Outs

Ins
Pastel nails- Pretty, summery and girly.

Being able to wear sandals, its finally warm enough!
Being nominated for the I love your blog award by Jo, thank you hun x

Orange juice, i can't get enough.

Growing another person, its so amazing to think theres another person growing inside of me. As i''m 9 weeks now the baby has arms, legs, eyes and most of its organs but they are teeny tiny and not all fully formed. I've got my first proper midwife appointment tomorrow, very exciting!
Fab boyfriend who after the initial shock is just as excited as me, happy to discusss names and prams with me and doesn't mind me being a bit grumpy at times.

Outs
Morning sickness and tiredness, some days i'm fine other days i feel like i'm on a ferry and am in bed by 9pm! I can't wait to get over this part. Everyone says to go for ginger but even thinking of it makes me feel worse for some reason!
Some of my clothes getting too tight, nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! When i get a proper bump i will show photos but at the moment i look like i ate all the pies!

Being broke with lots of things to pay out for.

Mirror, mirror on the wall

We've had beautiful weather this weekend, yesterday i went to a discount outletty place, i didn't buy much but it was nice to go too as its outside rather then being in a hot shopping centre. I was feeling a little bit fairytale-y in this outfit.

Review: Lush Spacegirl Bath Ballistic

The Product
Space Girl Bath Ballistic from Lush £1.85 per ballistic
Whats the hype?
Here comes a ballistic of astronomical proportions. We were inspired by The Imagined Village's intriguing interpretation of Space Girl from their second album, Empire & Love. It's shaped like Saturn with added space dust for our alien friends, and the refreshing scent of blackcurrant sweeties will make you hungry for your own space adventures. Space Girl is stellar, just remember your blaster and your freezer gun. Taken from the Lush site here.
Action shot!

Pros

  • Lovely smelling product like Parma Violet sweeties! Ohh and the smell lasts!
  • Pretty to look at, a gorgeous purple with multi coloured glitter. Always nice to store in the bathroom.
  • The glitter is the perfect amount so that you and the bath don't end up covered in it.
  • Really good value, one of the cheaper bath ballistics they sell in Lush.
  • As usual i was left with lovely soft skin.

Cons

  • It made the water a little bit grey-ish which i wasn't too keen on.
  • After reading the site i realised it was meant to have fizzing candy in, but i didn't seem to have any in mine :(

Will i buy again?

Probably, i love my baths and was really loving the smell of this product so its likely to be repurchased.

ELF order and mini reviews

Firstly can i say thank you to all the lovely compliments on my last post, its given me a much needed confidence boost and reminds me how lovely bloggers are!
Hands up, who loves ELF make up? Totally bargainous and good quality make up, what more do you want! I thought i'd show you what i ordered and a little review on each item.
Firstly i would just like to say how fantastic the service is from ELF, i ordered on Sunday and night and my order was here Tuesday morning and they text and told me when my order was dispatched. Simples.
First up, Studioline Complexion Perfection
I love love love this product! This is the second time I’ve purchased it, it promises to create a balanced and radiant complexion. I put this on after I’ve used concealer and use it all over my face, I find it leaves me with a lovely sheer matte finish and its heavy or cakey at all. It tones down any redness I get, so I’ve been using it instead of foundation as I don’t like to wear foundation everyday. I also really like the packaging this comes in, looks much more expensive then £3.50!
Shimmering facial whip in Spotlight
This is a highlighter that can be used on cheeks, eyes and lips. In the photo i have put it on quite heavily so that you can see but it blends to a much more natural colour. For the price of this I’m really pleased, its great for using on the inner corners of eyes, highlighting brows and cheekbones. Also if you wanted you could use it on your cupids bow for fuller looking lips.

Plumpimg Lip Glaze in Baby Doll
Really pleased with the colour of this gorgeous wearable pink. Double ended applicator, one with clear plumping gloss which smells a bit like Vicks and tingles when applied to the lips(if you've used Sexy Mother Pucker before it feels like that). The other end is the colour which you apply over the plumping gloss. Leaves lips beautifully shiny and soft although I’m not sure if it really plumps my lips which are quite full anyway.

Hypershine Gloss in Flirt
Much more orangey in the packaging then i expected, but almost clear when applied. Gorgeously shiny. I really don't like the smell of this at all, it reminds me of the smell of Urban Decays Lip glosses with the men that strip in the lid(do you know the ones i mean?). I know lots of people love the smell of them but its just not for me unfortunately.

Studio Lip Stain in Red Carpet
I really like this product and think its a fab idea, i went for this red as its quite dark and that’s a colour i don't have in my lip colours at the moment and i love strong red lips. Its a double ended product, firstly you apply the colour which goes on easily and smoothly, then you can either leave it to dry for a matte look or apply the gloss in the other end for a shiny finish.. I originally only wanted this for the matte finish but i really like it both ways. I find matte lipsticks can be drying but with this stain i find is leaves my lips moisturised.

Overall a big thumbs up from me!! I would also like to say i ordered and paid for these myself and these are my honest opinions on the items i received.

If you haven't read it yet

You should read Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella.
Here's the description(stolen from Amazon)
Lara has always had an overactive imagination. Now she wonders if she is losing her mind. Normal twenty-something girls just don't get visited by ghosts! But inexplicably, the spirit of Lara's great aunt Sadie - in the form of a bold, demanding Charleston-dancing girl - has appeared to make one last request: Lara must track down a missing necklace Sadie simply can't rest without. Lara's got enough problems of her own. Her start-up company is floundering, her best friend and business partner has run off to Goa, and she's just been dumped by the love of her life. But as Lara spends time with Sadie, life becomes more glamorous and their treasure hunt turns into something intriguing and romantic. Could Sadie's ghost be the answer to Lara's problems and can two girls from different times end up learning something special from each other?
Obviously i won't tell you what happens but i loved this book and read it in 2 sittings and my mum is currently reading and enjoying it. I loved being able to picture the characters in my mind which is one of the reasons i always tend to like books more then films. For me the book had dsome laugh out loud moments and i did have a little cry at the end too. The only bad thing about the book really is that you could tell exactly what was going to happen but i find that in alot of chick lit.
For anyone not familiar with her Kinsella also wrote the Shopaholic series of books and Remember me? and The Undomestic Goddess. I think I've read all of her books and liked them all.

New things for me!

I'm not really in the mood for shopping at the moment, its hard to buy because i'm already putting on weight but i don't look pregnant and i need things to be bump friendly I did manage to pick up a few bits in H&M recently.
Firstly i got some maternity leggings, i didn't really think you needed a picture of them! Ohmygod they are the comfiest thing ever, they fit perfectly but have lots of room for growth, they would also be perfect if you were going out for a big meal!!

I grabbed this lace vest, they had them in loads of colour and for £2.99 i couldn't say no
This fine knit long jumper with rouched shoulders/sleeves, half price, i have it in red and its perfect with the leggings as i grow.
Then in the maternity section i got this gorgeous dress, its much prettier in real life, its very me which is good as i don't want to lose my style just because i'm pregnant.
Also picked these up in Lush.
I'm going to do a post a bit later in the week with baby bits, i don't have much as its early days but i did get a couple of bits! xxx

She was a skater girl

This outfit post is actually from last week, most of you know it was the Grand National last week so i decided to wear my horse belt to tie in with the horsey theme. Its not the most exciting outfit but i like it, this belt is fab.

I have a quick question, i'm doing a mini haul post, just wanted to know if you'd like to see baby bits included? Only clothes, nothing too boring? Let me know xx

Sunny days

We've had some gorgeous weather this week so i've been taking advantage, spending lots of time outside. Its been a mad weekend so far, my sister her husband and 4 kids came up to stay from London, we've also had both my brothers and sisters in law and their children here too. Its lovely but mad.
One of my nieces who is 8 is like a mini me, she loves anything girly and floral and glittery. She was a bit confused on clothes sizing though, she thought as she is 8 and gets size 7-8 clothes that i would get size 26 clothes because i'm 26!
I've been so sick tonight, so i thought i'd sit down, relax and catch up on some blogs.
Anyway heres another floral outfit post.
