Weekend haulage

I dragged the boy to Leeds on Sat as it was a gorgeous day and i wanted to have a look in a couple of shops, then today i went to the local shopping centre with my mummy on the hunt for some shoes for a wedding she is going too. Heres my buys!

Firstly i got this dress from Primark, i love it soo much, my mum couldn't believe it was from Primark, i like it worn with leggings for daytime and maybe with gold sandals and bare legs for evenings out.
This headband in the Accessorise sale, the picture does it no justice.

I got these babies which i love, i don't tend to look in Dorothy Perkins at the shoes but they had some gorgeous ones in. Think these look cute with tights too.

Back to Primark, i got a basic pearl headband, nude ribbon chain necklace with bow(i might change the ribbon to a navy one) and cream vintage look belt with rose clasp.

1. What is your favourite item of clothing? Ohhh this is soo hard as it changes all the time. Right this moment its probably my All Saints Mabelle dress and maybe my Dorothy Perkins polka dot dress.

2. What are your biggest obsessions? Shopping, nail polish, false eyelashes, blogging

3. Who inspires you? Nobody really, clothes wise i'm probably most inspired by peoples blogs and people i see out and about.

4. Who is your favourite designer and why? Chanel, its so timeless and classy.

5. What is your favourite song ever? This is such a hard question. Maybe I heard it through the Grapevine as it reminds me of being little and of my dad.

6. What is your favourite song right now? I just my most played songs on my ipod to answer this and i seem to be listening to Charmless Man by Blur alot. From songs that are out at the moment it's probably Pokerface by Lady Gaga as its reminds me of nights out.

7. If you were a sweetie what would you be? A pink jelly baby, small and cute!

8. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet- what words would describe your rainbow?Red- strawberries, i really don't like them, but i wish i did.
Orange- juice, i could really fancy a glass now.
Yellow- cheese, one of my fave foods.
Green- grass to walk on barefoot when its really sunny.
Blue- suede shoes.
Indigo- jeans, a must have item for everyone.
Violet- MAC Creme de Violet eyeshadow.

9. What's your favourite film? Dirty Dancing, American Beauty, Wizard of Oz and Oilver.

10. Who's your favourite actor? Jonny Depp

11. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?On a beach with a cocktail in my hand.

12. What are your 3 favourite smells? Freshly cut grass, baking bread and Chanel No 5.

14. What is your most treasured possession? The little bear i've had since i was born. My dogs.

18. What would your perfect afternoon consist of? It would start with lunch with the girls and some wine, then an afternoon of shopping, then seeing the boy and having a walk on the beach.

At first i was afraid, i was petrified

Today i had my long awaited hospital appointment for my throat so i was a bit nervous.

I wa expecting them to just question me and make me open my mouth and say ahhhhhhhh so you can imagine my shock when the doctor said they were going to put a camera up my nose and then back down my throat. Thinking about it now, i'm glad i didn't know about it in advance or i would have worried! They numbed it a little but it still hurt a bit and was uncomfortable and then my face was numb for like 2 hours after. The outcome of today is that i'm on some different medication for 2 months and then i have to go back again.

I used my Avon Purple Haze quad today, i posted about it a couple of weeks ago so thought i'd let you know how good it is.

Bearing in mind the £5 i paid for it, its fab, the colours are quite pigmented and lasted nearly the whole day and they were easy to blend together. I wouldn't say the quality is as good as MAC but its brilliant value for money,

In other notes i saw the boy today and he was gorgeous and lovely as always x

I've ordered these beauties today. I really want some thigh boots for AW so thought i'd give these babies a try. I did want some flat ones but maybe i could have both flat and heeled? hmmmm

Giveaway winners!!

Firstly i'd like to say sorry for the delay posting this, i was meant to do it last night but i went out for food and got home late.

SOOOO i ended up getting loads of random bits and bobs so we drew 2 names out, one for the main prize and one for a runner up prize.

Blackpool and haul!!!

Well Blackpool was amazing. Pure tacky and i loved it!

We spent Saturday at the Pleasure Beach going on the rides and eating the most lovely garlic bread ever. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to rides but convinced my friends to come onto the Veteran Carousel and the Alice in Wonderland ride(this actually scared one of my friends).I also loved the dancing water show.

Last night we went out and i finally wore my Mabelle dress, i don't have pics yet as my friend has them on her camera but i'll post as soon as i get them. We all got suitably drunk and i managed to spend about £15 all night as a man my friend met was buying us drinks for most of the night. Highlights of the weekend include meeting Postman Pat(and Jess!), being kissed by an Octopus, attempting to do THE lift from Dirty Dancing(and failing!) and my friend breaking the bed in the B&B which had us in fits.

We stayed right by the the centre of town so it would have been not to go to the shops. New Look had the hugest sale on so thats where we went!

This week i've also been to The Body Shop and gotton Peach body butter, the oui oui oui lip butter, blusher, eyeshadow and concealer. I love it all!

I've got a busy weekend planned starting with a trip into town after work tomorrow to get some essentials as its payday WOOOHOOO, then i'm meeting the boy and we're off to the cinema(if we can agree on what to see). The early on Sat i'm off to Blackpool with the girls, i've never been before so i'm so excited. We're spending the day at the pleasure beach then back to our B&B for beautifying and then we're off round the town at night. My All Saints Mabelle dress is getting its first outing yay. We're heading back home at some point on Sunday, not sure what i'll be doing it depends on the hangover i have.

Anyway heres a pic of me in the All Saints dress, i'm not going to wear it with grey tights but i just happened to have them on!

I'll try to get a picture of the back at the weekend, the straps are amazing.

I've been doing some training today over in Bradford for work. Then i got to finish early so i met the boy for a couple of drinks. He seems to love my dark hair so thats one good thing!
