Review: Cherry Batiste

Last week i mentioned on twitter that i wanted to try out the new Cherry Batiste and they kindly offered to send me a sample to review. I was quite excited by this!
My sample arrived really quickly and here she is.
I have used Batiste for years, its a fab product and even more useful to me now i have a toddler and i don't get the chance to wash my hair every morning. I'm glad to report that this version is as good as ever and leaves me with fresh feeling, looking and smelling hair.

The reason i really wanted to try this new version is for the smell and i was pleased that it was a lovely fruity scent thats not too overpowering. I actually prefer this to the other scents available which is a suprise as i've always liked the Tropical version.
I am also a little bit in love with the packaging, who doesn't love a cute cherry print?

Tonal

I've been buying a few new bits this last week or so(including ordering a wedding dress!) and rather then do a haul post i've worn them.
I wore this yesterday for a busy day of soft play, the library, lunch in the pub and pancake making(mmmm nutella)
The dress was on offer for £15 in Topshop and with reduced postage so it would have been rude not to buy it. I love the cardi so much, i love how the colours tone in with each other.

MUA Love Hearts NOTD: U & I

I said in my giveaway post that i'd ordered a couple of bits for myself. Much as i would have liked the whole collection i really didn't need it so i limited myself to 2 items.
I chose Sweet Kiss lip balm(i'm also giving one away) and U & I nail polish as i don't have a colour like that.

Here it is painted rather messily. I had to use 3 coats to get a streak free finish. with flash

I really love the colour its very pretty and time will tell on its staying power.
I kind of want to go order the orange one now!

Orange

This is an outfit from the weekend, i actually totally forgot i owned this until i found it buried in my wardrobe on Friday and remembered how much i like it. I'm not normally a huge fan of these kind of prints on me, but this is easy to wear and goes well with my current favourite cardi.

Its been a while

Its been a week!

Seb was poorly last weekend and then i got it at the start of the week and Phils been off work so i've not really had the time or inclination and so my outfits have been pretty blah! Heres a few pics from the week.

Snow day!

Did you know it snowed?!

Its been a long weekend, Sebs been poorly for the last couple of day so we've not been upto much. But i did manage to get him out in the snow for a few minutes this morning, as he's not walking i had to hold him to stand in it and he wasn't too sure as it was very slippy under his feet. He did like touching it though.

A change is as good as a rest

Today i had a break!

Phil was on a late shift and not starting work until half 4, so i took advantage and went to look around the shops all by myself! I love shopping on my own, i like the freedom of being able to look at anything and everything, spending as long as i like looking in random shops and generally just enjoying my own company. Is anyone else like this?

Then i met my friend for lunch, looked in a few more shops and came back home. I felt really refreshed just from having that little break from baby talk.

I actually didn't buy much for me, just these leopard sunnies and pretty pj bottoms from Primark. I got Seb lots of new bits though including these, i love them!Have a good weekend, i hope you have some lovely plans. I shall mainly be hiding from the cold! xxx

Tartan

I have a on/off relationship with tartan.
I remember wearing a tartan skirt to the school disco aged about 11 or 12 , it was my favourite item of clothing for ages, i barely took it off. Since then it has flitted in and out of my wardrobe but most recently has been out.

At the weekend Urban Outfitters were offering £1 delivery so i thought i'd take a look, much as i love UO i do find it to be overpriced at times, but their sales are fab so i headed straight to the sale section and this bag caught my eye.
Originally £48(really?) it was reduced to £5, i originally wanted the green/navy version but it was out of stock typically. Anyway i ordered it and it came today and i realy like it.

I also received another Body Shop ordered today, another Brazil Nut body butter(this smells amazing) and a Vitamin E Face Cream as during January i managed to use up all the face cream samples i had lying around and now officially need one.
