I dyed my hair

Arghh i've been dying my hair for years and never had any problems. Then today i decided to try a new colour, Schwarzkopf Live Unlimited Gloss in Midnight Red, thinking it'd be a nice dark browny red.

So i put the dye on, then washed it off after 30 mins, dried my hair off, looked in the mirror and what is looking back at me.............

Black hair! Argghh i used to dye my hair black and have been growing it out over the last 3 years(slow progress!) so now it seems i'm back to square one! I'm hoping after a few days it will fade because at the moment i see no red at all! This is me a few years ago with black hair as i still can't get photos onto my laptop.

It was a gorgeous day 2 years ago and i was one of the bridesmaid. They are happy as ever and expecting their first baby in Decemeber.

OK as promised i'm doing my very own giveaway.

I now have 74 followers which is something i never set out to achieve when i started this. It amazes me how warm and lovely everyone is in Blogland and i love reading each and every blog(i'm massively nosey!)

Since i decided to do a giveaway i have been picking up some little bits and bobs, theres no theme to the giveaway,its just made up of cute and pretty girly things i see. So far it includes nail polish, bath fizzers, sweeties, socks and lipgloss plus i get paid next week so there will be lots more. Sadly i have no camera(my cable still hasn't come) so i can't take photos. You need to use your imagination!!

Mini Avon Haul

Avon has been around forever and in my house we've always had the books lying round. I used to order all the time(their body lotions smell fab) but i've conciously stopped ordering recently as i just ended up buying things that i never used. To be honest i've never thought much of Avon's make up, the price of it can often be similar to Mac prices but it can lack the quality. I still always have a look when the book comes and i'd heard good things about the eyeshadow quad thats similar to a Chanel one so i decided to order it along with a lipgloss. I also got 2 free nail polishes.

I got an Extreme Shine Lipgloss in Rose Shine which is a gorgeous colour

My two nail polishes were in Rose Gold and Real Red.

Hopefully my cable for my phone will be here soon so i can post some proper photos!!

Arggghhhh why!!

How typical is it that when i'm totally broke, my phone dies!!!

Thank god for my dad loaning me some money until payday. I ended up getting the LG Viewty which is a nice phone its chunky which i like but i can't get used to the touch screen! It also has a f camera so lots of pics from me, i'm just waiting on a USB cable that i've ordered from Amazon tonight.

In other news i have Tuesday and Wednesday off work and i'm spending it with the boy so i will be missing in action for 48 hours! Hope everyone else had a good Monday x

Wedding outfit of the day!

I went to a wedding on Saturday and the day did not start well! I was orignally wearing new nude studded dress but realised i had forgotton to get any nude knickers and all the ones i tried on i could see them! Then i managed to put my foot through my tights and i had no other sheer ones in the house as i don't wear them normally.

So i ended up wearing the Monet print dress, it needs taking in but i love the print and the material is lovely and stiff giving the skirt a nice shape.

I wore my perfect nude lipstick which is MAC in Hue. Then after the wedding we rushed home i got changed and went straight back out to the toyboys house. Had a fab time.

Tagged, all about moi

I've been Tagged by the fabulous Tabithas Wonderland and Cheated Hearts.

Basically i have to tell you 10 facts about me!

1. I am the youngest of 4 children, i have 2 big brothers and 1 big sister who have produced 5 children so far with another on the way. I'd love to have a big family of my own some day.

2. I studied Early Childhood Studies right up to uni, i love little ones and hopefully will go back into that field at some point.

3. I'm only 5ft hence my love for very high heels!

4. I've lived in a few different places in the UK. I was born in London, grew up in Berkshire and am now just outside of Leeds. Also spent 3 years at uni in Northampton.

5. I have huge collections of scarves, funky socks, necklaces and of course shoes, but i hardly ever wear most of them(I'm trying to change that!).

6. I don't drink alcohol at home. The only time i drink is if i'm out but then its the hard stuff, i love tequila shots when they're done properly with the salt and lemon. At home i tend to drink water and fruit tea.

7. I love baking! I find it really relaxing and i'd like to think i'm pretty good at it!

8. I can sing a bit. I used to be in a choir and people always tell me i have a nice voice. I'm always humming to myself but sadly i've been having problems with my throat since December and my voice is a bit on and off at the moment.

9. I'm a list maker. I always have random lists in my diary, they can be shopping lists, things to do or anything. They make me feel more in control!

10. I have a tattoo of stars on my back.

Outfit of the day

I wore this for work this week. I'm lucky that i can wear whatever i like!

I love this red hair bow- i got it from internationale- the home of cheap hairbands!

I wore it with this dress with jersey striped top and cotton skirt from Be Beau at Matalan, i took off the boring back belt and added this red one from Primark. The leggings are from La Redoute as usual!

To go with the bow headband i wore these flat bow peeptoe pumps which i got from ebay.
I actually really liked this outfit and some random builders called me gorgeous so it can't be too bad!

Shoes glorious shoes

Shoes are my thing, for me theres nothing like a lovely shiny new pair. I saw these in the Topshop sale and decided i needed them for summer. The leather is sooo gorgeous and soft. So here are my new babies!

I also picked up this fab ring in there. I love the blue stone. I also popped into Superdrug to pick up the GOSH holographic nail polish. I also picked up this lipstick from the 2true range. How cheap is that stuff!
