Outfit post

I hope its not boring me posting this dress in my outfit of the day again, i just love it so! The colour brightens up the dull days we are having here. Anyway here goes....
Coral dress-Primark, Gold metal disc belt-Principles, Black opaques
Leopard print peeptoe flat pumps- Dorothy Perkins
Also thought i's post my hair as its all wavy today, courtesy of me not drying it last night and just putting it into plaits instead. I also wore a black cardi to ward off the rain.

Mini accessories haul!

I seem to be into buying accessories at the moment. I had a little haul today. I think wearing my sequinned cardigan helped!
Purple velvety bow beltI love this belt, its made of gold metal discs which overlap each other and the belts elasticated.
2 green bow slides
A short silver chain with a teeny bow.
Long gold chain with 4 tiny pendants-a key, a bow, a pearl and a crystal.

I'm not going to be around much for the next few days so i'm sorry for the lack of any comments being left by me, i will try to catch up! x

I'm outta here

Finally on Sunday i left the house after 6 days of being trapped inside, i'm meant to be in quarantine until Tuesday but really my work are mad that i've had any time off at all and i feel ok. Anyway back to Sunday....
I went into town with my mum, we needed to get some bits for the dogs and of course i popped into a couple of shops too. I needed a couple of bits from Boots so we went there first, then we went to Marks and Spencers as i wanted some of the handcream they do. Actually Marks had some really nice clothes in but i didn't get to have a major look as we were in a hurry.

I got

  • 2 packs of baby wipes- these are useful for just about anything!
  • 2 packs of Boots cheapie fragrance free cleansing wipes- these are my holy grail make up remover
  • Soap and Glory 'The Fab Pore Facial Peel' tried this tonight and love it
  • Soap and Glory 'Make yourself Youthful Face Serum' which i've also used tonight, its nice but i need to use if more to give a better review
  • 2 Coconut handcreams from Marks and Spencer, my holy grail handcream, only £1 and smell yum
  • Marks and Spencer Passion Fruit hand and body lotion, smells gorgeous
  • Also my 2 collection 2000 items from my mum are pictured

Then we quickly popped into Primark but i only saw one thing i liked which was a belt but the only one they had was huge on me. I popped into Dorothy Perkins and they had the plain dress from my wishlist so i grabbed one and will doan outfit post with it this week.

Soo nothing exciting but it was great to get out! The boy is better now too so yay i can see him again! x

Collection 2000 review

My lovely Mummy got me a couple of treats while I've been poorly. She knows i love purple and i love sparkle so she got me Collection 2000's Glam Crystals gel eyeliner in Shake It Up. On the ranges website it's advertised by saying 'We love it because it’s easy to use and makes our eyes look fantastic'. It also shows all 12 colours available.
I have some other glitter liners by Too Faced, Urban Decay and Mac so its nice to be able to compare higher end brands with a value range as this only cost around £3.

So here's the product, it comes in a 6ml tube which will last ages. The packaging is basic and practical, its nice be able to see the colour of the product it annoys me when you can't see what you're buying.
This is the product on my hand, this is a couple of layers built up and its a true colour but you can't see the sparkle which is iridescent so you get reflects of all sorts of colours. The brush is inbuilt into the lid, its easy to work with as its very fine and you can use it to get a thin line or create a wider area of colour. It dries pretty quickly too so if you want to build up layers then you can to get a more intense look.
Here is a picture of the liner on my eyes. I made up one eye to show you, i used MAC Shale eyeshadow as a base then used the liner on top and i painted it on quite thickly. You can see the sparkle more in this picture.
I will 100% definitely be buying this again in the other colours, at around 1/4 of the price of other similar liners the job it does it just as good. I think it would be amazing if you covered your whole lid with this for a pure glitter eye. Well done Collection 2000.

On the same subject, my mum also got me this nail polish from Collection 2000, the colour is BMX Bandit, its a gorgeous colour on and dries so quickly!

I'd just like to say I'm not promoting Collection 2000 products, I'm just really pleased with these items and its made me curious to try more!
Are there any other bargain products out there?

Autumn wishlist-photo heavy

Wow well its now officially August(where has the time gone?!) so my thoughts have turned to my Autumn wishlist. Over the last few days i have tidied out my jewellery boxes, accessories and drawers so i have room for some lovely new things. I have 2 big bags of things to get rid of through ebay or by giving to charity and i haven't even tackled my actual wardrobe yet.
So heres my wishlist for now...

Starting with things i don't have pictures of
Opaques in black and every other colour i can find.
Black slouchy knee boots
Navy blue skirt(still)
Indigo Hula jeans from New Look
Make up bits and some brushes from ELF
Fine knit longline cardis in black, dark grey and maybe another colour from Zara

This dress from Warehouse, i love the zip back and it has shoulder pads too

Plain basic jersey dress from Miss Selfridge, i want a couple of these for work and play

Update-big thank you

Hello everyone, would just love to say a big thank you to everyone who has left me get well messages. You'll be pleased to hear i am feeling alot better, I've been asleep for most of the week and I've not actually gotten dressed in proper clothes since Tuesday but at least i don't feel so spaced out now! I'm still headachey and have a permanent runny nose(seriously its like a tap!) but I'm starting to get cabin fever now which means i must be on the mend!!
Unfortunately i seem to have passed the flu on to the boy, so now its his turn to be stuck at home, and he hasn't stopped moaning(typical bloke). Its quite annoying as its his birthday next week and i was taking us to Manchester this weekend as his present. I've not been able to go out shopping to get him anything so I've ordered him this belt which he really needs and will get him something else when we're both allowed out!
I'm sorry for the lack of interesting posts, I'm working on it! x

Oink oink

Today i've been diagnosed with Swine Flu. I don't feel too bad today just very hot and cold and headachey. The doctor said i'll probably feel worse over the next couple of days.
I've opted out of Tamiflu as i'm young and healthy and the doc thinks my body will be able to fight it off with no problem. I'm now in quarantine.
Expect lots of bored posts from me!!
