Bare legs

I've gone for bare legs today, its gorgeous again. This top and necklace are new purchases this week. I'm not upto much today, its my dads birthday so i'm going to make a cake for him and also cook a massive lasagne for us tonight(and probably tomorrow too).

How we spend the long weekend

Well the long weekend we've just had has been very family orientated for us.

On Friday i went to my parents for the day. Seb never comes home empty handed from there, he came back with new clothes and my mum got him more new fruits to try, my freezer is full of his food, no room for ours! My brother, his wife and my nephew Jake came over and we spent most of our time in the garden as Jake is obsessed with trees and wants to touch each one he sees(cute to me, but drives his mum insane!)

While i was out, Phil went and got Seb a highchair, i can't believe how big he's getting now. Here he is munching on a carrot stick.

On Saturday my friend Clare came to ours for the afternoon, it was lovely to have a catch up. On Sunday we took Seb to the park

and then went to Phils parents for a BBQ along with Phils sister and her boyfriend. Yet again we came home laden with more clothes for Seb.

What did you get upto? Any plans for the next bank holiday weekend? I have no specific plans, other then look at Kates dress and watching some of the Audrey Hepburn films that are on.
Back to fashiony posts tomorrow ladies

Simply Swimwear

Swimwear is a word that usually makes me shudder, its hard to find something nice and well fitting when you have GG boobs and i'm pretty sure every single one of you reading this has your own issues finding the right bikini or costume. When we started taking Seb swimming i actually gave up looking for a decent costume and ended up buying the most basic boring one imaginable.

So when i received an email from Simply Beach, i was pretty excited. I'd never heard of this site before but after having a good look i knew i wanted to get involved with them. They have a huge range range of swimwear on the site that are suitable for everyone, they do a plus size range, a maternity range and you can even shop by your bra size which was a godsend for me.

They very generously offered me a voucher to spend on the online swimwear shop so after much consideration i went for the Fantasie Montreal Twist Front Swimsuit. A little bit sexy but practical enough for the pool.

So how was the service? Ordering was simple, you can pay via your card or paypal and i received a confirmation email right away. I ordered on Thursday 21st April in the afternoon and it was with me on Saturday 23rd, not bad considering we had good Friday inbetween. Ohh and that was using the standard delivery which only costs £1.99! I know i sound gushy but i was really impressed with this as i've paid alot more for delivery in the past for it to take over a week to arrive.

My costume is lovely, it fits really nicely and i can't wait to go to aquababies this week to show it off.

So i highly reccomend taking a look at their womens swimwear range, especially now we're coming up to the holiday season. I've got a few other items on my wishlist(a gorgeous green bikini in particular) for if and when we get away this year.

Doing, wearing, eating

Its yet another beautiful day today, i'm wishing we had a garden now rather then just a little shady paved bit outside to put washing. I might brighten it with some plants though.
This morning me and Seb went to feed the ducks and were treated to the lovely sight of new ducklings. They are soo cute following their mum around, cue me bursting into a version of '5 little ducks went swimming one day' to Seb who adores singing.

This is what i'm wearing today, nothing exciting as i took Seb in the sling and he tends to dribble over anything really nice!

with Barry M's Peach Melba, i love this colour but its very streaky to apply.

Tonight we'll be eating this Creamy Chicken from the Very Lazy Company, i've not tried it before but it looks quick and easy.
Photobucket
And Easter cake, this kind of went wrong but it tastes good and the daisys are SO pretty!

I hope everyone has a lovely long weekend. Tomorrow includes a trip to Ikea, and then to my mums. Not sure what else i'll be doing over the weekend. Do you have any plans? xxx

Start of the week

Happy Monday everyone, its yet again a lovely day although this afternoon its clouded over a bit. Nothing exciting going on here, just had the food shop delivered and making up Sebs purees for the next week or so. Today i'm wearing yet another dress that i had to put away while pregnant, it really is like having a new wardrobe this year!

Back detailing Photobucket White cardi-Zara Photobucket Over the weekend i managed to pick up a few bits, most were for Seb but i did get myself some shoes and a necklace.

This is from my favourite charity shop, i always find nice jewellery in there. Photobucket I wanted these shoes in black but they didn't have my size so i got the nude instead i figure they'll go with quite alot of my summer clothes. Photobucket Tomorrow is a bit more busy, i have to take Seb to Phils mums work(a nursery) as they've been moaning that they've not seen him and then in the afternoon he is having yet more jabs :(

Photos of today

Today has been rather lovely. The weather is Yorkshire has been lovely this weekend, today i got a lovely lie in until 10am while Phil got up with Seb and then we went to the park for a picnic to enjoy the sunshine. As you can see the park is rather gorgeous and there was a lovely atmosphere with lots of families being there.

Photobucket

I wore a dress that was confined to the back of the wardrobe last summer due to my bump being too big for it. I love the colour and cream detailing.

In our local park there is an outdoor gym, its really random and free to use. Such a brilliant idea, heres Phil on the treadmill, they also have an excercise bike, les press thingy, weight lifting thiny, benches for sit ups and loads more.

Finally mummy and Seb, giving him yet more kisses. Photobucket

Tipsy shopping

Yesterday was Phils day off and it was absolutely beautiful weatherwise, so the three of us went into Leeds shopping. I had to return a dress anyway and we wanted to put some money into Sebs trust fund so we thought we might aswell make a day of it. We went for lunch first where i took advantage of the yummy cocktails, i only had two but it was the most alcohol i've had in over a year so i was a little bit tipsy. I spent more money then i should have really but my maternity money goes in tomorrow so i don't feel too bad!

H&M was first up, i tried so much stuff on in there, they have some gorgeous bits in.

I got this dress, i love the print and the empire line suits my boobs

Photobucket

Photobucket

So i got it in black too

Photobucket

And this scarf because i thought it might look cute in my hair worn with the black dress and big sunnies

Photobucket

In Primark i took back my white dress and exhanged it for this gorgeous blue tie tee, i don't normally wear stuff like this but i love the colour soo much.

Photobucket

These sunnies with bows on the arms

Photobucket

And i got a necklace but forgot to take a photo and some hairbands but you don't need a photo of those!

The most exciting buy of the day for me was this changing bag. I've been using a boring plain one since Seb was born and its so blah, TK Maxx had loads of changing bags in and this was one of them, its massive. I don't always bother with a handbag these days if i'm going out with Seb on my own so i wanted a pretty bag to carry around for our bits.

Photobucket

Obviously Seb got in on the act and also managed to aquire a few bits too, this child has so many clothes! Photobucket We went to Aquababies this morning, only to get there and find the small pool was closed as someone had used it as a toilet. Lovely!

The rest of today has been spent working out money as my maternity money ends soon and i really don't want to go back to work and leave Seb. I'm hoping we will be able to work it so i can stay at home or even just have a weekend job so that even though i'm leaving Seb he can spend time with Phil(when he's not working) or my mum.

Nail of the day

My newest nail polish is Rimmel's Lasting Finish in Srawberry Fizz. When it dry's it has a fruity scent although to be honest i think its a bit pointless as it would be a be weird if we went round sniffing our nails all of the time.

Photobucket

Its a really nice bright colour and lasted ages. I've not got many Rimmel polishes, its not a brand i tend to go to but its fab quality x
