New dress

I just won this studded dress on ebay, fingers crossed it gets here for Thursday when i'm going away for the weekend.

Date

I went on a date last night, it wasn't that great but i loved my outfit!

Black zip up vest dress, black opaques, grey patant shoots and bright yellow cardigan.

I love this dress, i think it would be fab with opaques and platforms. it might have to be a payday treat for myself.

Aside from my fashion buys, i went and saw this gorgeous boy today and fell in love. We're pcking him up next week...

.....he's a Lhasa Apso, i already have one called Millie who's 8 months old and they have pretty much the same colouring. I want to call him Marvin, but its up for debate at the moment!

Mini review

While i've been poorly this weekend i red Gok Wans latest book How to Dress.

I generally like Gok as he is so positive to women about their appearances(though i really don't like programme he is on right now) but the book was a let down. Its very basic and i didn't agree with alot of what is said in there. For example it says when layering not to wear anything patterned on the outside, i totally disagree with this i love layering patterned tees under plain dresses! Anyway the book is split into chapters titled Basics, Underwear,Workwear, Going Out, Holidays, Weddings, Mums, Beauty and Shopping. The section on shopping is by far the best in the book and i also like the fact that all the clothes pictured are indexed in the back.

Overall the book isnt for me but i can see alot of them being wrapped up under christmas trees this year.

2009

Its early, but i've found my 2009 diary. Its week to view and the front and back cover is of shoes. I love it!

Payday binge

I got paid on Friday so i had a binge at the shops after work.

Some bits i haven't taken pics of

Zip up vest style dress, i love this so much am thinking of wearing in the day with a tee and tights and then also more dressed up at night.

Blue plaid shirtdress, i love the shape of this but i think it might make me look bigger then i am. I'm going to play around with a belt to see if that helps.

..the fifth of November. Admittedly i used to be terrified of fireworks but nowadays i love everything about bonfire night, the smells, the sounds and the wrapping up warm whilst watching pretty lights in the sky. Oh and i love the food at this time of year!

I'm not bothering posting todays outfit as it was very dull due to having our photos taken at work.

Then i came home and took the puppy out for a nice long walk, she had to wear her coat as it was rainy. I'm not generally a fan of dressing dogs up but it stops her getiing soaked and smelly!

I've been lusting after these for what seems like ages now and was going to buy them when payday came but when looking online tonight i realised they were starting to sell out so i used my last bit of money to buy them! They are much nicer in real life so i will post photos when they come.

I now have £1.55 to last me until Friday.
